C.W. Ministries App Privacy Policy

C.W. Ministries uses the C.W. Ministries mobile app to help members and guests stay connected with worship, prayer requests, classes, events, ministry updates, mission information, profile access, and giving links.

Information We Collect

When you create or sign in to an account, the app may collect account information such as your name, email address, and user ID. This information is linked to your account and is used only to provide app functionality, such as member access, profile display, prayer and ministry features, and account support.

If you choose to submit a prayer request or other ministry content through the app, C.W. Ministries uses that information to provide the ministry service you requested. Prayer requests marked for the church may be visible to the ministry community. Prayer requests marked private are intended for pastoral or ministry staff review.

If you submit a prayer-wall report, we collect the report, the prayer it concerns, and your account ID. If you submit a bug report, we collect the message and may collect your account details, app version, Android or iOS version, device model, and an optional screenshot when you choose to attach one. This information is used only to investigate and respond to the report.

The app may store limited local activity on your device, such as guest access state, prayer-wall preferences, and reminder selections, to improve your own app experience. Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a device/app registration token so the app can deliver notifications you permit.

What We Do Not Do

The current app does not use third-party advertising tracking, cross-app tracking, analytics collection, crash-reporting collection, or live in-app payment processing. Giving options open provider links or manual giving instructions. C.W. Ministries does not collect payment card or bank account details through the app.

Embedded Video and External Services

The app can show public YouTube or Vimeo video in an embedded player and can show eligible Zoom recordings in an in-app browser view. Those providers may receive technical information needed to serve the video, such as your IP address, device/app information, and player activity, under their own policies. Zoom meeting links open the Zoom app when it is installed or otherwise open the browser. Donations open the official external PayPal page; PayPal handles the transaction under its own policy. The Android app does not provide a native Cash App, Zelle, or PayPal checkout integration and does not send payment credentials to those services.

Android App Permissions

On Android, the app may ask for notification permission so C.W. Ministries can send ministry updates. The app also uses Firebase services for account access, prayer requests, published ministry content, audio, and push messaging. We use those services to operate the app, not for advertising or selling personal data.

How We Use Information

We use app information to operate account access, worship and event features, prayer request features, classes, profile access, ministry communication, role-gated staff tools, and support.

Sharing

C.W. Ministries does not sell app data. Information may be shared with ministry staff or service providers only as needed to operate the app, provide requested ministry services, maintain account access, or comply with applicable law.

Security, Retention, and Deletion

We use encrypted HTTPS connections, Firebase access controls, and authenticated server checks designed to protect app information in transit and at rest. Access to private ministry content and support reports is limited to the people and service providers who need it to operate the service.

You can delete your account in the app under Profile or use the web account-deletion path below. When deletion is completed, C.W. Ministries deletes the Firebase sign-in, account metadata, submitted prayer requests, prayer-wall reports, bug reports, and associated bug-report screenshots. We may retain the minimum information required for a legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security obligation for only as long as that obligation requires. We do not keep deleted account content for marketing.
